Already a seasoned software industry executive, Raj Naik joined Votenet™ Solutions, Inc. in early 2003. Currently he serves as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company’s portfolio of industry-leading services and solutions and forming strategic business alliances. Under his guidance the number of clients utilizing eBallot®, the company's market-leading enterprise-level online voting software, has grown from 2 to over 1400. Continuing to lead the innovation of online voting solutions, Raj was charged with orchestrating the highly successful launches of VOTENET™ Voting On Demand, the world’s first web-based election software for small associations and organizations, and eduBallot®, the #1 online voting software designed specifically for automating voting for K-12 schools. Earlier this year, Raj lead the design, development and launch of Trofee, an enterprise award and contest management solution.

Raj brings over 9 years of executive management and software development experience to Votenet, previously founding and serving as director, strategic development and operations for Riva Commerce Inc., now Conformia Software Inc., an enterprise-level regulations and compliance software company. While at Riva Commerce Raj established the initial product vision, software prototype, and business plan, which helped raise over $2 million in initial funding from venture capital funds and angel investors. Raj also directed the hiring and management of Riva's U.S. and India-based teams of business analysts, engineers and software developers.

Raj is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill where he attended on a Duke Power Scholarship and he holds a Masters and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University. A member of the TiE, The Indus Entrepreneurs, ASAE, and 12 year volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, Raj is also an accomplished long distance runner, having completed 3 full marathons and 5 half marathons.
