We are looking for a talented Graphic/UI Designer to join our development team. The position is responsible for creating intuitive, appealing, and effective websites and applications. We are looking for someone who has a drive and ability to create beautiful interfaces for our products and customers. The successful applicant will work closely with our development and marketing teams to help us design and develop the next generation of our products.

The ideal candidate would have the following characteristics:
Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
1-3 years of experience developing user interface design for a commercial software company.
User-centered design perspective and understanding of related design methodologies.
Experience in developing the following design artifacts: workflows, storyboards, wireframes, and mockups.
Proficiency in HTML, HTML5, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, XML, Photoshop
Understanding of web design principles (web standards, SEO, etc.)
Ability to work in an environment with inflexible deadlines
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
A drive to exceed customer expectations
Self-motivated and independent
Desired:
Familiarity of ASP .Net, C#, ColdFusion, PHP and MVC architecture
Experience designing and developing usability test plans, conducting usability tests, and documenting test results and conclusions.
Flash experience
Responsibilities:
Designing the User Interface and User Experience for the next generation of our web applications
Working with local and remote development teams to enhance existing designs and establish new UI/UX standards
Conduct usability tests with end-users and lead stakeholders to validate and compare different design options
Location:
We are located in Downtown Washington, DC. The successful applicant will be required to work out of our main offices at least 25% of their time. Local applicants only please.
Total Compensation:
Varies depending on experience and qualifications
